Hotel-Hostal Marbella

Hi, My wife and myself had a nice 8 night stay at hostal Marbella, many thanks to Zak and Nacho on reception who were really nice and helpful. We stayed in a suite which served it's purpose, clean and tidy, I'm not sure if it's worth the upgrade cost as the only thing that was different from other rooms, was the balcony and a kettle and condiments, a couple of improvements I think would make it more comfortable would be some new pillows, the ones we had were so lumpy and uncomfortable, other than that everything was fine, we will definitely return. A hotel embarrassment... to begin with the photos that appear on the web have nothing to do with the room that touched us, apart from being small, it was very dirty. The stained sheets and holes, there were hairs all over the room, both on the sheets and on the floor of the bathroom, walls stained with lipstick, apart from being super dirty. In the bathtub half a bar of soap used, the screen has never been cleaned. We took the room for two nights and only slept one out of necessity but it was very disgusting. And for more inri, when we are collecting to leave, we see that under the bed was a used condom (attached photo). More disgust impossible. The cleaners are more entertained in talking in the hallways than in doing their job, as expected they did not clean our room after the first night. We do not recommend this hotel at all.
