Hydros Hotel and Spa

Great family holiday at holiday world resort! Stayed a week at casamaia apartment- that is part of holiday world. 2 bed app pleanty of room for 6. Nice and clean. Lovely views of the sea. Great pool and nice chairs with shade Also day beds thats was a lovely touch. One one clean in the week so be carefully with your towels. You can get beach towels from hotel so dont pack some. And change them for 1€ for clean ones. No keys to rooms just on the band you get that is your room key for all over 12yo. Location if you like a resort this is great there are 3 hotels in total and a beach club at the resort. Felt safe at resort lots of security and only residents had accsess. We went Ainc and was getting all our food at the holiday world Riwo hotel next door to appartment. Food at this was hotel was very good. Pleanty of choice for breakfast lunch an dinner. Bad reviews with the food. Cant really agree with them food was good- breakfast was lovely every day and somthing for everyone and could not fault it. With lunch and dinner depending how busy it was there with how hot things were jusy like the chips or somthing but ,just wait few mins for fresh ones. Some theme nights with different foods every night and different puddings like ice creams and chocolate fountain. Im fussy with my food love to cook and expect high standards and they were. Great staff. With the drinks in ALinc you had coins in exchange for cups. Only down fall with 6 of us had to remember our cups. They have branded drinks also. You can use hotel polyneisa which is a lovely hotel has ten pin bowling mini golf and so on. We like that we can go to the big hotels but have option of a quiet place like the app if you wanted a some down time as only the resident staying could have access to casamaia. Beach world club was great!!! Amazing lunch there- loved it and could not fault. There is a shuttle bus between 10-6 between the hotels and beach club. Free to resident. You have to hire the rings tho. 10€ deposit and 10€ to pay for it. Double ring for 17€ A great place for kids and adults. Location need a bus to get to towns- bus stop right out side beach club going in both directions 1.90€ each. Easy to use. Went to benemadnea and torremolinos. Nice place by the sea. Around 30 mins from malaga airport. If there are bad reviews i cant see why and what they could not ne happy about . We had a fab week would return.

Do not be fooled by the pictures, they may be 20 plus years old. The place is okay BUT extremely shabby. Appliances are old and worn, walls and corners are stained and dirty, ample infestation of little bugs, extremely uncomfortable and hard beds, worn and tattered linens, smelly and worn furniture, tiny screen for TV and poor hot water supply. The balcony seemed unstable and there sits a defunct hot tub on every balcony covered with a tarp that comes undone and flaps in the wind. Also a with a cleaning bucket, mops and brooms sitting around while you enjoy your coffee. The hotel is about an hour walk from the start of the beach strip so spontaneous walks to the beach or store become a real chore. The staff was flip but did respond to our requests to unclog the sink and to fix the water and lack of internet connection. There are no umbrellas for your use. The shuttle service to the main gate is a joke so most people just walk the 15 minutes down the hill (and up when you get back). The pool furniture was so shabby and old with stains, tears and grime. The place was quiet, with traffic street noise during rush hours. There are great views of the ocean and the 'strip' and the apartments next door. The spa was filthy and treatment areas were not maintained. Mostly older couples were here with a relaxed atmosphere. The price value was not great considering what you do pay for. Pick another place.

The aparthotel offers rooms with direct sea views and a skewed sea view on one side facing railways and bars and on the other side facing the coast. We got another room because of perfume in the first and had a nice skewed sea view towards the coast. Although the sea is very close, there is no direct access to the coast as the apartment hotel is part of a very large complex and it takes about 20 minutes to walk to the entrance of the complex, and a little shorter if you use the shuttle bus of the complex. The apartment does not have a reception and check-in takes place at the neighboring hotel RIWO.
