Marinas de Nerja

I just checked out today after 3 nights, and for what I paid per night, I have to say that I expected much more. The rooms are well-equipped, good shower, and the mattresses, although they could be better—the springs squeak a bit already—are acceptable. For me, the big disappointment is the all-inclusive, especially the drinks at the pool bar, although the buffet in general could also be much better for what you pay. At the pool, with the all-inclusive, there are few drinks worth having; it only includes the most basic brands, and the mixed drinks seem like they are cheap or low-quality liquor. The cocktails are pathetic, some undrinkable, and on top of that, for those who don't have all-inclusive, if they order a Piña Colada or a mojito, they aren't given the same cocktail as the all-inclusive guests, but a much better one; smoothies aren't included either, and in short, very few drinks to choose from and, above all, of poor quality. The buffet is also in great need of improvement, better than the pool bar but with little variety and nothing that surprises you, quite basic things. And the worst part is the desserts, pathetic!!! Low-quality industrial cakes and very poor ice cream, very disappointing. And the entertainment is also in great need of improvement; there are very few activities for adults and not many for children either. For €300/night, you can offer much more!!!! The location is a 10 and the pool area is quite nice.

Stay away from this hotel It should only be rated as a one star not 4 Dirty run down rooms, old rooms. Unfriendly staff at reception. The food is a disgrace, dinner plates not clean, every second plate is dirty. It’s not worth the money paid. It’s a real disgrace this hotel

One more year you have more than exceeded all expectations for spending a few unforgettable days with the family. A 10 for everything: facilities, rooms, staff, cleanliness... I want to thank our super front desk manager, Tere, who is so kind and approachable with the guests and does everything possible to keep us happy. Also mention Mónica from the restaurant and her entire team, María and Chema for making every day fun with their entertainment and treating my children with such affection… overall a 10 for everyone and thank you for these days… See you next year, family 😘
