Plaza Cavana

Just back yesterday from our first time visiting Nerja. Nerja is beautiful. This little gem of a hotel, could not be any better located for all the old town has to offer. It sits on a gorgeous little square filled with bars and restaurants. The staff are all so friendly, helpful, warm and welcoming. Reception staff were always happy to help you. The entire hotel is kept spotlessly clean. The buffet breakfast is plentiful and has something for everyone. Our room, a comfort room, was spacious with the most comfortable huge bed. Plenty of storage space and the bathroom had a very powerful shower. Always a bonus as sometimes in hotels this is not always the case. Overall we were so impressed with this hotel. Just a couple of ever so slight negatives. The pool area is small and gets busy, so we didn’t always manage to get a sun lounger. However, the pool bar is a pleasant alternative place to sit and read/relax. The rooms can be a bit noisy, you are able to hear ‘everything’ from your near neighbours rooms. The bar area near the reception, although very nice was only open when there was a sporting event on. The World Cup when we were there. It’s a shame as would’ve been a nice place to sit in at the end of a day. Just one more thing to end on a positive note. The lady who runs the pool bar, I’m sorry but didn’t catch her name, was amazing. Always happy to help and always with a beaming smile.

Great location,the staff are very helpful and friendly,the hotel is very quiet,the bathroom and shower a very good size we were on the first floor,the hotel itself is spotlessly clean,sun beds can be a issue.

Spotlessly clean hotel with nice rooms. In the centre of Nerja old town. Within walking distance of everything. Staff team super helpful a special mention to Sanne who went above and beyond. Breakfast is Lovely as well. I recommend going for a balcony room.
