I usually check Tripadvisor before booking anywhere but this time round it simply slipped my mind. After booking and paying I decided to have a read of some reviews to see what was around this location, having never stayed outside of Nerja center before. Having read some of the negative reviews and seeing some of the pictures posted, we were quite apprehensive about staying here. However, upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised. We stayed in Apartment 9 and it was excellent. Modern, spacious, very clean and well equipped with all the essentials. Can't speak for any of the other apartments as we didn't see them. The owners of the apartment were extremely friendly and provided excellent communication before, during and after our stay. They also provided recommendations for restaurants, attractions and had a list of numbers for taxis and services if we needed them. The pool area and surrounding gardens are very clean & well maintained. The complex is secure with multiple entry and exits which can only be accessed via your key. At reception there is a really nice man, Juan, who was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. There is a small mini market in the complex which is ideal if you need some necessities; albeit overpriced but to be expected when there are no other shops/supermarkets nearby. If you like the beach then you can't beat the location as it's literally a 30 second walk. You can walk to the centre of Nerja in 30 - 40 minutes but when it's hot it's easier to take a taxi/bus. The bus stops right outside the apartments (5 minutes to the hour almost every hour) and only cost €1 per person. About a 5 minute journey then into the center. A taxi costs approx. €7 but can be difficult to get at times; especially mornings. There are two really nice restaurants in close vicinity - Mesonera de Nerja (one of the best restaurants we've eaten in) and Avalon. During busy periods of the year you may need to make reservations as it's unlikely you can just walk in; from what we discovered. Overall we were very satisfied with our apartment and stay here.

We stayed at apartment no. 1 which is on the ground floor and literally just a few yards from the beach. We chose the apartments as it is pet friendly and very close to the beach, there are also some amazing walks around the Nerja area. The apartment is a short walk into Nerja, around twenty minutes, you can either walk on the beach or go via the road to the front of the building. Sitting on the beach in the evenings was lovely with the most beautiful sunsets, its a lovely quiet and peaceful location. It also feels very secure with locked access to get out or in. We had decent heating, which was needed in the evenings and the apartment has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended, we would stay again in the future.

We stayed here for four nights and attended a wedding next door in Marinas Hotel. The location was perfect for wedding. It's a short taxi ride to town €7 or you can stroll up beach 20minutes. The pool and gardens were very well maintained and the place was very secure. On arrival our toaster was broke and there was no kettle just a coffee machine. I went to reception but the young boy kept telling me to call another day. The reception wasn't manned for many hours. The apartments were clean and comfortable And there was a back gate which took you straight onto the beach. The apartment terrace was very nice to sit at and it felt. Dry private. It's very quiet there after 10pm. There is no facilities for eating at the apartments and the little shop didn't open until 10am, the did get fresh bread in each morning but this was bought up quickly. Would return as couple but wouldn't be a place I would take my kids it was too quiet . The pool was just lovely , no sunbeds although you could take up your seats from the terrace. Nerja town was very pretty .
