Hotel Sur

The location was very central, so busy bustling and at times noisy, but to be expected! The rooms are basic but in good condition and very clean. Good value for money would recommend.

Basic, no frills hotel. It is clean. Small rooms and bathrooms. Great location. Close to the park and centre. Lots of places to eat and drink nearby. 15/20mins walk to the beach. Reception staff, all male, could do with going on a customer service course. Basic toiletries. Please consider investing in some better toilet roll! I wouldn’t revisit and I’m sure you could find somewhere just as convenient with better service and a warmer and more relaxing environment nearby.

Please see my Google review. I was thorough there. It was AWFUL. Location is central but so are 20 other hotels - at least. So much so that I was looking for another hotel for the remaining 2 nights. I went into at least 4 whose reception staff were a breath of fresh air compared to the miserable people at Hotel Sur - only the night attendant was pleasant, and the cleaning staff. The room was priced at 181 and change. Spend 60 to 80 more for a good night sleep anywhere else - Soho Boutique hotels, AC Marriott, Only You - all better options
