Salles Hotel Malaga Centro

What a lovely hotel, location was good, just near enough to the centre but far enough away that it wasn’t busy. Very relaxed atmosphere, pool a love addition, staff very lovely & ready to serve you when needed. Rooms clean & modern. We booked a full package, so probably would have been cheaper, booking everything ourselves. Easy to get an uber from the airport, took about 20/30 mins cost about £20 with a tip. Would defo stay again

Generally a very pleasant hotel with a great location right in the heart of Malaga next to the old town. For a city hotel the rooms are a reasonable size although we did upgrade to a larger deluxe room. The housekeeping team and reception staff were very friendly and efficient. The real blot on the landscape was the rudeness of the senior barman on the rooftop bar. My wife and I were about to enjoy a coffee at a table which overlooked the city when we were abruptly told to move so a single female guest could be seated at our table. Ok, if he wanted to impress her then fine but don’t embarrass and belittle other paying guests which such demeaning behaviour. A great shame and not what we would expect at a 4 star hotel. In summary, a good hotel in a great location but avoid the rooftop bar!

The rooms are quite small but the bathroom is enormous could do with a re jig for more space around the bed! The swimming pool is tiny overfill with 6 people! And freezing cold! There are a few sun beds but far too close to each other. A few people tried putting towels on the sun beds but the barman removed them only right when there’s only about 20 in total. However the hotel is so close to the bars and restaurants in the town that we were able to overlook these flaws.
