Sol Timor Apartments

We used to come to these apartments when I was a child and hadn’t been back in 16 years until 2022. Since then we have been back every year since in August and each year just gets better and better. They are constantly making upgrades and improvements and the apartments and all communal areas are always clean and well kept. The entertainment staff are amazing they are so friendly and work extremely hard and long days to make sure everyone is having a good time. Felipe in the supermarket onsite is an absolute gentleman and does a brilliant job and is always so friendly and helpful. All the staff are so lovely and really want to make sure you have the best time. The location is brilliant with lots of shops, bars and restaurants right on its doorstep and also a 10 minute walk to the marina which has many more too. The beach is literally right behind the hotel which means you can have the best of both worlds with the pool and beach. We will definitely be back again next year.

Stayed at the hotel for 10 nights with my wife. This our second visit as we were there last year. On arrival sign in was quick with no problems. Staff were very professional. We were given a side sea view room on the 8th floor. The room was spotless. With a nice balcony looking along the coast/beach towards Torremolinos. Beds were lovely and comfortable. Kitchen and bathroom were really nice. We had booked Bed and Breakfast. Your not going to starve at the hotel. Breakfast was the usual fare, bacon, eggs sausages etc. Also full continental menu. It was OK in my opinion. All the areas were clean and the staff were all very pleasant. Outside areas were kept tidy and clean. There was more than sufficient sunbeds, however some customers as usual were out at the crack of dawn laying down towels on sunbeds in their favourite spots, then disappearing for half a day.SELFISH. The swimming pool was nice and clean with various activities set up during the day. Evening entertainment was provided, this I found a bit like marmite, you either like what was on or you didn't. The bar staff were very good and the drinks, Strong. Don't forget to say stop when getting your drink poured. The price was IMO very good for the amount you were getting. Peanuts and sweets are also provided at the bar, a nice touch. We met a lovely couple from Kent. Steve and Carol. He was in the army, poor chap, we all have crosses to bare. Carols cross was she was married to Steve. From the front entrance there are a few Supermarkets and pubs ideal for stocking up and a drink in the, well anytime. Take the road directly outside the hotel, up the hill. About 100 yards on the left. Doyles Corner, an irish pub, who do a terrific breakfast and other meals. ( thank me later) Leaving the hotel past the swimming pool use the wee gate and you have access to the beach and the promenade. Lots of restaurants and shops if you go left heading towards Torremolinos. Go right and you have access to The Marina, lots of shops and restaurants. Most of the rooms do not have an iron and ironing board. We contacted reception and had both delivered to our room in a very short time. All on all a lovely holiday, so much so we intend booking another visit on 2027.
