Very good location, 5 minutes from the beach and cafe/bars/restaurants. We were B&B, but after checking out the restaurant paid to upgrade to HB, which was very good value. The food was varied and offered plenty of choice at both breakfast and dinner. The snack bar during the day was also good value.
The staff in all departments were friendly and amenable, the only problem we had was on our final night, when, trying to return pool towels and settle the bill the female on duty said she couldn't do and it would have to be done on check out ( there were no other people waiting for service) I explained that that would be at 0530hrs in the morning and she said it wouldn't be a problem, which turned out not to be true for the man on reception at that time (5.15 am 22/9/26) when I tried to settle the bill. We eventually sorted the matter thanks to his perseverance (I'm sorry I didn't get his name, but a big thank you to him). He said it should have been possible the previous evening.
The room was well appointed and was cleaned daily. The beds were comfortable and there was little noise from other guests, or from outside the hotel.
The pool area was clean and tidy and sunbeds were always available.
The bar served a good variety of food (during the day) and drink, at reasonable prices for a hotel.
The marina is about a 20 minute walk away and the Old Town about 30, or a short ride on the frequent local buses which are very easy to access.
All in all a very good week here and I would definitely recommend the Delfin Azul as a good place to stay in Port d' Alcudia.

Where do I even start?
Arrived before the advertised 3pm check-in and absolutely no rooms were available early. Fair enough, check-in is 3pm — but then actually trying to check in was chaos. The queue was enormous and we waited over an hour and a half just to get our room. Not exactly the welcome you want after travelling.
Then there’s the bar. I asked for just a glass of ice and apparently that wasn’t something they could provide. Yet a glass of lemonade? €4. Four euros. For lemonade.
Finally got to the room and the beds are rock hard. We paid for a pool-view room thinking that would be a nice upgrade, but ours is also affected by constant road noise, so don’t assume “pool view” means peaceful.
We also paid for lunch. I genuinely wish we hadn’t. The food was poor and ours arrived lukewarm. When you’re paying extra for food at a hotel, expecting it to arrive properly hot really shouldn’t be asking too much.
The whole experience so far has been queueing, overpriced drinks, disappointing food, uncomfortable beds and noise.
We’re only here for three days, and at this point I’m genuinely glad it isn’t longer.
For anyone considering BQ Delfin Azul: manage your expectations. A holiday should start with excitement, not 90 minutes standing in a check-in queue wondering why you booked the place.
Would I return? Absolutely not.

Great location, just a few minutes’ walk from the beach, with a supermarket, restaurants, and bike/car rental nearby. The room and hotel were clean and well maintained. Dinner was tasty, with a good selection. Overall, a very pleasant stay!
