Rusticae Hotel Can Simoneta

If not the best, one of the best places in the world for relaxation.

After many years, a hotel made me return to writing on TripAdvisor For many years I wrote quite a bit on TripAdvisor. Afterward I stopped doing it. Not because I stopped traveling, but because over time many other ways to discover, choose, and share hotels appeared. However, after our stay at Can Simoneta, I felt like writing here again. I was with my daughter and I can say that everything was perfect. Can Simoneta is not a cheap hotel and probably for many it represents a significant outlay, but rarely can I say with such certainty that a hotel is worth every euro paid for it. Mallorca in summer can be full of people, movement, and places where sometimes it seems to matter more to be seen than to simply enjoy. Can Simoneta is exactly the opposite. It is a refuge. A place where the true privilege is in the tranquility, the space, the landscape, and the feeling that everything works without drawing attention to itself. The location is extraordinary. The gardens, the terraces, the pools, the views, and that wonderful exit toward the sea, with a small beach next to it. We could have perfectly stayed for the entire duration of our stay without leaving the hotel. And, at the same time, if one wants to take a walk, in a few minutes one can reach small towns and centers in the area. Our room was excellent: spacious, comfortable, impeccable, and very well thought out. The bathroom was spacious, a fantastic shower, good surfaces to set things down—something that those of us who travel a lot end up valuing enormously—and everything exactly where it should be. The gastronomy was another of the great highlights of our stay. In addition to eating wonderfully at the hotel, we enjoyed a fantastic multi-course menu with a proposal that fused Mexico and the Mediterranean. Sensational. We also had dinner one night at Pleta de Mar, belonging to the same group, and it was another lovely experience. But there is something that for me says even more about a hotel: the service and the people. On the day of our departure, we had to leave very, very early. We hadn't notified them beforehand and, when they found out, they told us that if we had, they would have prepared a special breakfast for us to take away. Even so, at that moment they organized a bag with several things so that we would have something for breakfast and snacks during the car ride. A simple gesture, perhaps, but it is precisely those details that distinguish correct service from true hospitality. And that was our entire stay: warm, professional, and discreet attention. Present when we needed them, without ever being intrusive. Mallorca has magnificent luxury hotels, including big international names. I have seen and known many hotels of that type over the years. But Can Simoneta offers something that I personally value more and more: it doesn't need to prove that it is luxurious. There are no stridencies. There is no sense of a stage. There is beauty, privacy, excellent gastronomy, nature, impeccable service and, above all, peace. Perhaps that is why, after so many years without writing a review on TripAdvisor, Can Simoneta made me want to do it again. And I think that is, in itself, a very good recommendation. I would return without hesitation.

We had an incredible stay at this hotel. The setting is magnificent, calm, serene, intimate. The staff and service are impeccable. The rooms are comfortable, spacious.... A dinner at the gourmet restaurant worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant. The service was on par with the cuisine. Very beautiful quality of tableware and a special mention for the precision of the seasonings. We had an excellent evening.
