Apartamentos La Cabana

We stayed for 12 nights in apartment 1C until June 1. The apartment did not match the advertisement at all. First of all, there was no TV when cable TV was advertised. We told Toni, the owner who had the restaurant downstairs. He said he would put it in, but he never did. The apartment lacked the most basic necessities, only two chairs, two forks, two spoons... the pans were ready for the trash, we asked Toni for another one, and he gave us an even worse one. The shower and the kitchen faucet were not functioning properly. There was no toaster or washing machine; however, there was a rusty clothesline that was almost unusable. The cabinets were rickety, with knobs that were falling off. The light coming in through the window woke you up early; we mentioned it to Tony, and he had another cloth placed over the rail that did not prevent the light from coming in. Speaking of the light, we were without electricity several times because the fuses blew, and we did not know where they were because we were not informed. They were outside the apartment. We had to call Tony at 7:30 in the morning to be able to prepare breakfast. By the way, that Toni charged us 50 euros for a dozen shrimp one day when we went to dinner at the restaurant. A board from the bed fell on my companion. In summary, it was a disaster. We would appreciate it if you would take action on this matter. Sincerely P.M. Moraza

I definitely recommend this hotel. To banish!! I made a reservation request on booking 4 months before the departure date. Everything looked great. 7 days for an initial price of 425€ is very reasonable. However, I had to change the number of days of my reservation for 6 days because my flight was too early on the last day to reach the airport in the morning. So I made a change request and was announced a price of 360€. This is correct at the price of the night. In short I pass the details, they increased the price to 400€ for no reason. I spent 2 months contacting them without concrete answer until the hotel owner contacted me on whatapps to offer me to pay cash at his house and I quote “do not charge me the tax if I come to dinner with him one night”. I obviously contacted the hotel service, which found no better solution than to cancel my reservation 1 month before the scheduled date. In short today prices are exorbitant for rentals. I was willing to go to this hotel anyway because I was traveling with my companion but I clearly advise against setting foot there.

Pleasant stay in this establishment with simple comfort but good quality. The apartment is ok and the bedding comfortable but the bed quite noisy. It is spacious and has a kitchen and fridge. It also has a large balcony overlooking a rather uncrowded road in low season. Water pressure problem in the shower and lack of shutters on the first floor. The Pension has a good restaurant with dynamic and very friendly staff. Reasonable rate in low season.
