Lots of good things to say about this place however lots of things to improve.
Some front desk staff super helpful and nice some just aren’t interested. If you’re not a “Level” guest you may as well be invisible. Despite a no reserving sunbeds rule by 8.30/9 almost all have towels on with no one arriving on them for hours and there are very minimal parasols available. Lifeguards advised me to remove towels myself and won’t touch them / help - management need to enforce this rule or it’s pointless having cards on every sunbed. No one wants conflict with guests coming back to find their stuff moved. Lots of kids shouting around the adults only pool and pool service hit and miss on if it was available. Cocktails are nice and lunch is good but menu limited. The gate access to the beach is open and not secure so non guests are walking in the place. Rooms are nice however I paid for a front facing sea view room to find no balcony and no chairs to enjoy the sea view (French balcony only). Housekeeping missed our room 2 days and we were offered a Bali bed on the beach (normally 90 euros) but not the usual included drinks. Beware you have to pay for sunbeds in the beach also €25. Pool towels are good quality and plentiful. There’s a lot of entitled guests shouting down the corridors at night and having calls on speakerphone. I called front desk one morning at 2 am as there was a party in a room they said they would send security but it carried on until the guests went out of the hotel.
The hotel is in a great location and the views across from the bars are lovely. Improvements on accessibility could be made. There are no handrails and a lot of the visual aids such as strips on stairs are worn away. Melia could do better with this for sure.
Melia wants to help support the environment please provide a water tap / fountain so guests can refill bottles.

Avoid Meliá Mallorca unless location is your only priority—despite its four-star rating and prime setting beside Nikki Beach, the poor hospitality, lack of empathy, and recurring maintenance issues make it a disappointing value.
Hospitality is what separates an average hotel from a memorable one, and this property consistently misses that mark. Rather than making guests feel welcome, the staff often made us feel like an inconvenience. The front desk was indifferent, the bartender refused to reasonably resolve an issue with an undrinkable cocktail, and the breakfast staff seemed intent on ushering guests out the moment service ended instead of extending basic courtesy.
The property reflects the same lack of attention to detail. Guests must carry luggage up a half flight of stairs before reaching the elevators, the room shelving was flimsy and came apart during our stay, the towel rack was barely attached, and the air conditioning was weak before ultimately failing.
If you’re in your early 20s or early 30s, plan to spend most of your time at Nikki Beach, and are simply looking for a relatively affordable place to sleep, this hotel may fit the bill. However, if you’re looking for an elevated experience, attentive service, and a hotel that genuinely feels four-star, I would recommend staying elsewhere. There are far better options in Mallorca that deliver significantly better value for the money.

Everything was excellent during our stay. The location, the facilities, the dining options, and especially the staff, particularly Elena and Lucia from Level, were very attentive and kind at all times.
