Cala d'Or Playa

Another brilliant holiday on our 4th visit to this hotel. Unbeatable location a short walk from numerous cove beaches and all the lovely restaurants of Cala D'Or. This year the animation schedule was better than ever, thanks to Miguel and his team for making it so fun! And nice new additions of bbq and burger nights and neon parties keep the atmosphere lively during the day. We just had a normal room (as opposed to superior) this time but it was lovely, clean and spacious with a huge and quiet balcony. The only point for improvement for me would be the aging plastic sun loungers. They sag and get quite dirty, also very crammed together. It feels like they could do with an upgrade! Everything else spot on, brilliant cocktails, food, staff, location, entertainment, atmosphere, the lot :)

Cannot recommend this hotel enough as a young family, the hotel was perfect for what we needed and we would definitely return which is a rarity as we like to try new places, The rooms were clean and had all you could need and the air con was good, the balconies really big so you could sit and enjoy the sun, being over two floors only meant you didn’t hear much noise if at all, All staff were friendly and helpful and our daughter loved all the entertainment team in particular, she loved taking part in their activities which too broke up the day, they really didn’t include all children The pools were perfect to cool off and the children’s pool not being too deep meant it was much easier to supervise, safe to say the slides were loved by all. The female lifeguard works extremely hard all day, we did mention one day that someone had put towels down and come 3pm still not around and she moved them so others could take the space, but generally easy enough to get a sunbed, We had lunch a few times which was nice enough and reasonably priced, and the staff friendly, Location wise it was perfect for a stroll to Cala gran or esmeralda beach as well as restaurants and we didn’t struggle walking anywhere, there was nothing we could say to fault the hotel, As mentioned few times please take swimming shoes for little ones as saw several children and adults slip, could do with a dry of excess water every hour or so but that’s literally it! Thank you again

Lovely hotel & Appartments spotlessly clean..Great air conditioning, Pools very clean lovely atmosphere..Food at bar is great .Very helpful staff Jose barman is very welcoming and polite loves a joke or two. Appartments very clean great showers hairdryer in bathroom..Toilet rolls and towels provided..Shower gel too.. Kitchen area has microwave toaster kettle 2 ring hob, Utensils and fridge.. Beds very comfortable ample hanging space and storage.. Reception staff very polite.. Children's club team members great fun lots for the kids to do..Baking cookies,face painting tshirts, pool competitions,bingo for the adults to win a bottle of champagne. Pool area lovely and children pool area with slides great too..(Pool shoes for kids a must )as gets slippery going up steps.. Spar shop 5 mins from hotel.. Indian restaurant Fusion is a must food to die for..honestly the best Indian food we have tasted..Would 100% Go back to this hotel
