Canarios Park

We did 9 nights but by day 5 I’d honestly had enough. I think I need a holiday to get over this holiday. *What worked:* The pool and splash park across the road are the only real reason this gets 3 stars. The kids did enjoy them and it kept them busy. The hotel is clean and the staff do try their best. Evening entertainment is okay for a 3-star, nothing special. Cocktails at the bar were alright. *What didn’t:* Location is a big issue. There are no local amenities worth visiting at all. The beach is only accessible by a free shuttle, which is always overpacked and has zero shade once you arrive. Food was very repetitive and hard to find anything each day. Lots of fish dishes which meant the kids really struggled to eat. Soft drinks just didn’t taste right. The play park is basically derelict. It’s incredibly loud. Paper-thin walls, people talking and running down corridors all night with no consideration. Sleep was tough. Sunbeds are another battle — loads of them but people still reserve them hours in advance and the parasols can’t be moved from where they are which makes it a struggle to get kids the much needed shade. There were a lot more nationalities than expected. Not a pro or con, just not what we were expecting so thought I’d mention it if it would be an issue for you. Overall: If it wasn’t for the pool across the road I’d give it 2 stars. Fine for a short stay with kids who just want to swim, but don’t expect relaxation, good food, or peace and quiet.

We arrived two days ago! We don’t want to go home!! Perfect for families!! Short walk to the beach! And local attractions! Fun lively atmosphere which my children have really enjoyed! The room is clean and comfortable! The bed especially is very comfortable we’ve all slept very well! Great to have a bath aswell as a shower! The hotel is clean, staff are brilliant especially the entertainment team, all staff are friendly and playful with the children! Food is brilliant! Lots of choice from especially if you have fussy little ones! Fresh fruit at every meal, Restaurant is clean and cool! Staff again very friendly and attentive! Pool area is great for the children and younger children! Definitely want to come back! Value for money for sure!! Thank you for a lovely holiday!

Good place, nice food, clean room. Animator Steve is the best and funny- good buddy.
