Club Hotel Cala Ratjada

The food is good sometimes the breakfast is just a little less but just what everyone likes. The beds are good, and fine rooms. The pool is very clean and located in a nice town. Definitely recommended for families.

If you are about to book this place- don’t. Came last year it was great- am here now and it is shocking. Our room had filthy mattresses with cigarette burns and the room stank of mould. It also overlooked the road. I am not - moaner you can look back at past reviews but this is truly the worst place I’ve ever stayed in. The Food is shocking it is cold. It’s tasteless and there is more food Food at a 4 -year-old’s birthday party.. It is totally geared for the German market. The drinks are cheap and nasty. The bar staff are miserable and rude. No kettle or fridge so no cold drinks when you wake up. If you have stayed at all inclusive before you will be horrified.

I cannot give a worse rating because I cannot. We stayed with a 6-month-old baby. The air conditioning did not work in the room (nor in the dining room or common areas) during the heatwave. We requested several times to change rooms because we could not stay like this, and they neither changed our room nor fixed the air conditioning. And the worst part, there were cockroaches in the room. I am attaching the photo. I submitted a complaint form in front of the indifference of the hotel room manager. He didn't care at all about everything, and I repeat, with a 6-month-old baby. In the end, after much insistence, they moved us from a family room to a single room (which means even narrower and more uncomfortable, but at least in this room the air conditioning worked and there were no cockroaches). The worst part, I must reiterate, was the shamelessness of the front desk manager, a certain "Abi," who at no point showed any embarrassment or made an effort to apologize or find us an immediate solution after the first complaint. She simply called the poor kids who work at the hotel from her home, and they are not to blame for the neglect of the place. I hope my review helps improve all of this.
