You need to take a shuttle bus to reach the nearest beach, which slightly takes away from the overall experience. The dining room was overcrowded most of the time, so instead of feeling relaxed, I often felt frustrated and exhausted by the end of the stay.
The biggest disappointment, however, was the sofa bed with the Italian-style pull-out mechanism. If you book a family room, it might be acceptable for very young children, but for adults the sleeping quality was extremely poor. After a couple of nights of terrible sleep, we ended up putting the mattress on the floor and sleeping that way for the rest of our stay. That was by far the most comfortable option.
Considering the price we paid for this trip, I wouldn't choose this hotel again. The staff were generally kind and helpful, although most of them spoke German, with only limited English.
