Gami

Paqui , the woman at reception when we first arrived (and who provided the most wonderful nightly € rate), could not have provided a better reason to switch from the noisy and expensive Prinsotel where we had been staying. When I could not figure out the air-conditioning, she came upstairs and had it working in a minute. Prior tenant had left the safe locked, and she gave us the code so that we were able to leave the room and our valuables and wander all afternoon. Sleeping was comfortable and quiet. The shower worked hot and strong. The Internet was very capable .Breakfast in the morning was terrific and unexpectedly ample. I honestly wish that we had spent all three nights at Gami. The neighborhood is pleasant with many offerings of inexpensive restaurants nearby. Joonas, in attendance at the desk the next morning who offered a place for us to store our luggage prior to leaving was also exceedingly helpful. Hostel Gami will be our go-to hotel should we ever return to CalaRajada. Paqui, la recepcionista que nos atendió a nuestra llegada (y que nos ofreció una tarifa nocturna en euros fantástica), nos convenció por completo para cambiar del ruidoso y caro Prinsotel donde nos habíamos alojado. Cuando no conseguía encender el aire acondicionado, subió y lo arregló en un minuto. El inquilino anterior había dejado la caja fuerte cerrada, y nos dio el código para que pudiéramos salir de la habitación con nuestras pertenencias y pasear tranquilamente toda la tarde. Dormimos cómodamente y en silencio. La ducha tenía agua caliente y buena presión. El desayuno fue estupendo y sorprendentemente abundante. Sinceramente, me hubiera gustado pasar las tres noches en Gami. El barrio es agradable y cuenta con muchos restaurantes económicos cerca. El señor que nos ofreció guardar el equipaje antes de irnos fue muy amable. Si volvemos a Cala Rajada, sin duda nos alojaremos en el Hostel Gami.

What can I say about Hostal Gami !! It´s Perfect. As an entertainer in Cala Ratjada I had the pleasure of staying here on numerous times in Spring & Summer 2025 and It was Perfect for me. Not only the Price to help me get a nice sleep after a late gig to avoid a long drive home but I had Fun with my Family staying too and the breakfast was also Spot on. The Reception Guy was so friendly and always made me feel welcome as did any staff we met. A Great place. Feel Like I should keep it quiet as I might not get a room next year but credit where Credit is due !! Spot On !!!

Top hostel, centrally located, very clean, very friendly and helpful staff. Good beds, decent breakfast. Pool we can't say anything, were always at the seaside or by bike. With one star, the "Hostel Gami" is underrated.
