Grupotel Picafort Beach

Very nice, small hotel on a beautiful stretch of beach in Picafort. All-inclusive is very diverse, the breakfast is particularly worth highlighting...the lunch and dinner buffet was also quite diverse. Always fresh grilled fish and meat, paella, etc. Especially positive for us as a family with a baby was the apartment with the kitchen. The layout with the bedroom and living room with the sliding door was also optimal. The bar right by the sea is wonderful, the staff is extremely friendly, and the drinks were also very good. The pool is unfortunately a bit small. When we departed, the high season apparently started, and there were up to 30 people in the small pool at the same time. It also became more hectic in the dining hall, and some tourists probably left their manners and decency at home, but the hotel and the staff are not to blame for that... Otherwise, we recommend the hotel without reservation; it is a quite small hotel in contrast to the surroundings, where we spent a lovely time with our baby! :)

I was at this hotel with my 86-year-old, dependent mother for a week. First of all, we did not receive the booked apartment, which was not so bad since ours was always in the shade and on the first floor, on the same level as the pool. The apartment is very nicely furnished and absolutely suitable for wheelchairs and walkers. One can drive a wheelchair into the bathroom, into the shower, and there are side grips by the toilet for holding on, etc. We had booked a wheelchair for the duration of our stay. When we arrived, I went to the reception, which was staffed by a young man who could not speak German and was not particularly polite. Instead of asking if everything was alright with us or if we might want something to drink, he wanted to first collect the rental fee and deposit for the wheelchair, and I was supposed to pay the tourist tax. There is also no luggage service, so I was on my own. Wheelchair, walker, two suitcases, and my mother. Overall, the staff, except for two ladies, was not particularly polite. There were also no aids in the dining room. We had booked all-inclusive. We were disappointed with the buffet, firstly with the selection and also with the taste. The service staff was polite. The staff at the bar was particularly polite and helpful. The rooms were cleaned very thoroughly every day, and even though it was not requested, the towels were changed daily. There was no shampoo or lotion. A otherwise nice hotel. The location is great, right on the beach.
