We visited as a young couple, drawn in by the location and the beautiful sea and those definitely delivered. Overall the stay had plenty of positives, but a few issues did let it down. Positives:
The food was excellent, with different options every day, and the sea-view dining was a real highlight. Entertainment was great both day and night, and the staff were brilliant—special shoutout to the water polo team!
Disappointments:
We paid extra for VIP access, which included a private floor and pool. Unfortunately, the VIP pool was tiny, and we didn’t feel the upgrade was worth it unless you mainly want guaranteed sunbeds and don’t plan on swimming. The high-floor sea-view room itself was lovely, but we faced two major problems:
1. Ants: We had ants in the bathroom and even in the wardrobes, getting onto my partner’s clothes. Staff sprayed the room, which helped for about 12 hours, but the ants returned.
2. Shower: The water pressure was extremely weak—sometimes barely dripping. We were offered a room change, but it felt pointless after paying extra for a premium room.
These issues definitely put a damper on things, though we tried not to let them affect our holiday. The sun, the main pool, and the sea access were all beautiful.
Things to be aware of:
• The safe costs €11 per day, which felt unreasonable.
• Expect queues for drinks. Only one bar and two staff.

Excellent holiday at a fabulous hotel. Wonderful choice of food and staff very friendly. One particular member of staff that stood out was Daniel who was extremely enthusiastic, nothing was too much trouble. He was a great member of the entertainment team and even had time to speak to the holiday makers making them feel so welcome. Well done Daniel.

We went as a family of a couple and two late teenage boys. This is our third visit and as like the other two, we were really happy with the hotel.
For us, being about a 20 minute stroll to the main Magaluf strip was ideal. It's a short transfer from Palma airport if you are private but probably longer if coach as it's the far end of the Palma Nova / Magaluf bay.
We've had rooms above the restaurant / lobby and below, there are benefits to both. Above gives you fabulous sea views and it's quieter but this time we were on floor one so just above the pool and on a level with the cave bar. This was really good for nipping back to the room and the slightly louder night time wasn't a problem.
We were half board so breakfast and evening meal. Both offered a wide choice and there was no rush to turn over the table and most of the time any queue for food was minimal. Breakfast included cereals, yoghurts, fruits, porridge, along with traditional english breakfast of bacon, eggs, beans, hash browns etc. A good selection of continental meats, cheese and spreads and an extensive pastry section. Couldn't fault it. The evening meals were equally well catered with theme nights. Ideal as we could each pick what we fancied and go back if there was something particularly nice. The catering staff were friendly, efficient and helpful.
We didn't use the outdoor pool as the hotel is sea front and our preference was for sea swimming, a key factor in choosing this hotel. There are steps down to platform where you can dive in or use a ladder to access the sea. First thing you are likely to have the cove to yourself swimming with maybe a few others. It gets busier later in the day but didn't feel crowded.
We did use the indoor pool which was ideal post sea swim to relax in the jacuzzi pool. It's not very big but also not used a lot. Most people prefer the outside pool and loungers. We didn't sit by the pool on the loungers which were very busy but there are tables and chairs in the shade outside and these were just right for us.
The pool bar / food is okay. You can get basic snacks like pizza, chips, burger etc and drinks. The drinks are more restrictive if all inclusive but if you are paying, there's a wider range
The cave bar in the evening is very popular with entertainment and bingo. We liked the bingo run by the entertainment staff as they were friendly, engaging and helpful. We didn't stay on for the entertainment so can't comment on whether it was good.
There are plenty of places to sit around the hotel, inside and out and some are quiet if you want some peace. The lobby and piano bar are nice for pre / post dinner drinks.
The one thing that I didn't particularly like is that smoking outside isn't restricted to a designated space. This meant smoking by the pool or outside seating area isn't prohibited so eating lunch you could be downwind to some unpleasant smoke and smell.
On our leaving day, we had an evening flight but the hotel have a room where you can store your luggage and you can continue to use the facilities. They also have access to a shower/bathroom for late checkout if you need to shower or change after you have checked out of your room. This was really useful.
Having been three times and overwhelmingly had good experiences, we will continue to come back as it's a great fit our our needs.
