Holiday Park

Back after a week in the heat. Good hotel with all rooms set up as apartments, so great for a family like us. We were on the first floor and had views onto a small garden area with plants and the pool was a bit further along. It was nice and quiet most of the time apart from one night when we heard the people above us coming in late but not a big deal and you expect that in holiday hotels. Lot’s of light and space inside the room and liked the balcony for the damp swimsuits and flip flops. The kids were happy cos they basically lived in the pool for the week!The bar serves decent lunch snacks and has ice-creams and obviously nice cold drinks. The sangria was especially good! Reception guy was super helpful whenever we had a question and on our last day he let us leave our cases in a luggage room which made a massive difference to us. There are other more modern hotels in the area, which are significantly more pricey, but we found Holiday Park a good balance.The price for what you get was good and it’s in a quiet area of the resort and we liked that we didn’t have to spend extra on breakfast and snacks and drinks as we did it ourselves in the apartment. The hotel was lovely but there was an incident with the pool where there was a chlorine leak which affected guests breathing and sight problems. One guest going to hospital. No instructions given by staff and no safety protocols put in place. We did contact the hotel but have had no response from them or on the beach regarding our complaint

I stayed here on a holiday with friends. We had 3 rooms between all of us and in 2 of them there was cockroaches. Disgusting and very poor for a hotel. Other than that the staff was very nice however this hotel was not cheap
