Nice hotel only a pity that towels are put away early and people only go to 3 o'clock or not at all lie down on the bed.We normally never do this but the last day we had also done it because we went to the beach and when you come back there are no more beds free. When we came back our towels were removed by a somewhat older man vd animation wd have talked to him and explained why we had done this. But he was not really understanding he said if you see a bed empty for 1/2 hour then come and say we have not seen the male again.Too bad that he allowed it to other people who he probably could. Was our last day and ruined the whole atmosphere.

We were accommodated with 2 children in a family room in the annex.
The food is exceptionally good and diverse for the price. But it is not a culinary highlight. However, one would also stay in an upscale hotel.
The shows were surprisingly good.
The hotel itself is very child-friendly.
The rooms were okay for the price - a bit worn out.
In our room in the basement, we had a huge mosquito problem. We kept the apartment door and the balcony door open only briefly for use. Nevertheless, I had to eliminate between 8 and 12 mosquitoes daily. If the room was mosquito-free before sleeping, there were at least 4 new ones in the morning.
They probably came in through cracks or the ventilation system. In any case, I have never experienced anything like this before. With small children, every night would have been madness if we hadn't managed to get mosquito nets.
At the reception, we were smiled at with the suggestion to close the balcony door....
They did not want to listen to us any further!

Surprisingly good food and great location – but noise protection unfortunately deficient
I am currently spending my holiday at the HSM S'Olivera in Paguera, Mallorca and stay here from Wednesday to Tuesday. The location of the hotel is excellent: Only about 10 minutes walk from the beautiful Palmira beach and in just 5 minutes you reach the lively shopping street. The facilities of the room are good, with working air conditioning, a comfortable bed, a spacious bathroom with walk-in shower and a balcony. Although our room faces the street, the noise level was acceptable. A small downer is the lack of a full-body mirror and, in this day and age, a smart TV. However, a safe and a sufficiently large wardrobe are available.
The outdoor area with a medium-sized pool and an outdoor bar is pleasant. The absolute highlight of the hotel, however, is the restaurant and food. After a long search for a hotel with good food, my expectations here were far exceeded. I cannot empathize with the partially negative or dissatisfied reviews at all. The buffet is simply TOP and offers a huge selection: from various desserts, cakes, yogurt, soft ice cream machine and slush machine to hot dishes with fish, meat and vegetarian options. Even with cold side dishes, salads, cheeses and sausages as well as bread, the selection leaves nothing to be desired – here everyone will really find something to their taste.
Unfortunately, there are also a few points that cloud the overall impression. The waiters in the restaurant are very efficient, but sometimes a little too eager. Plates of leftover food are often almost ripped away, and if you get up for a short time in two to get supplies, it can happen that the table is completely cleared and re-laid in just two minutes. This seems like a mass handling and the employees seem to be very tense and stressed. Perhaps a map system (ready, right there again, for example) could remedy this. Drink prices in the evening are also quite high (e.g. 2,60 € for a small bottle of water). But it remains to be mentioned that the staff is extremely friendly. Although tethered briefly, but that is probably because it follows its strict procedure.
The biggest negative point, however, is the clairvoyance of the hotel. I generally have no problem with children or play-related noise, but our roommates with small children were extremely noisy. It was a constant back and forth trampling, pounding and bouncing that spread throughout the day, from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. This is hard to bear, and if you want to sleep earlier or take a nap, you can't do it without ear opax. Every step and every word in the hallway or the maids' carriages on the floor above can also be heard clearly. When I go on holiday, I want to rest and relax for the price, and so unfortunately that is not possible.
Despite the noise problem, I would recommend the hotel due to the fantastic food quality and excellent location, but with the note that peace seekers should possibly pack ear opax.
