The hotel was lovely, cosy and had a relaxing atmosphere. However, it is a bit remote, so a car is almost necessary if you want to experience the area. Luckily we had a car and spent a lot of time exploring the area away from the hotel, which worked fine.
Unfortunately, the fitness area did not live up to the expectations of a spa hotel. It consisted mainly of a runband and a pair of exercise bikes, so the range was rather limited.
It was also a little pity that not all rooms have a balcony as it would have made the stay even better.
On the other hand, the breakfast was really good with a large selection and everything you could wish for.
The paths around the hotel were very uneven and could benefit better maintain.
Overall we had a great stay. The hotel is a nice choice if you are looking for peace and relaxation, but I would definitely recommend having a car as there are limited options in the nearby area.
