Pamplona

My daughter (12) and I had a great stay at the Pamplona. Staff were friendly and helpful and the communal areas (restaurant, bar area, pool) were well looked after and nice to be in. Room: we lucked out on an upgrade to a side seaview room which was spacious and comfortable. Nice balcony area and complimentary toiletries in bathroom. Housekeeping came in every day for bins/towels as required (but didn't always seem to make the beds?) We did have to pay to use the safe though which I thought was quite unusual. Food: we were B&B but paid for dinner one night. Loads of selection, lots of fresh fruit and salad stuff - almost wished we had chosen half board. Pool: we never had an issue getting sunbeds at various times during the day. Hotel took a deposit of 10E per towel, you could refresh them each day if you wanted. The pool itself isn't very big but it was a lovely area to relax in. The hotel itself is very close to the seafront area, not far from the Aquarium and well placed for bus into Palma. The 25 takes you to Placa de Reina for the Cathedral. It's also a good place to get on for going back as it's where the journey starts and you are pretty much guaranteed a seat! Bus 23 takes you to Placa D'Espanya which is where the bus station is - get buses here to other places on the island and the train to Soller if you fancy that. Plenty little supermarkets near by for snacks and drinks. Overall, a super stay and we could certainly consider going back again.

Our stay was good overall, with no major complaints. The room was spacious and clean enough, though we occasionally noticed ants near the balcony door. The beach is very close, and the staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly. We had a late-night flight and really appreciated that they allowed us to extend our stay past the 11 AM checkout – thank you for that! On the downside, the Wi-Fi in the room was weak, and the fridge wasn't very powerful. Still, a pleasant experience.

This was our 2nd stay and we enjoyed it immensely. The hotel was clean, comfortable and had welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. The hotel has a lovely pool and is near the beach. Good choice of food. We hope to stay again.
