Second time here in a matter of a few months. With my wife this time instead of friends so can see this places merits with a different viewpoint. Didn’t book, but this wasn’t a problem. Manager remembered me (genuinely, even remembered where I sat previously) and made myself and my wife very welcome. Recommended a wine which was perfect with our tapas meal and he and his staff were attentive without being intrusive. Great evening (again) and heartily recommended to anyone. Even those with picky wives...

We booked here specifically for the location for cycling and it being a spa hotel. My husband arranged a bike hire through the hotel and I was looking forward to spa treatments while he cycled. I tried arranging spa and yoga in advance but was told that the yoga teacher no longer worked there and my emails regarding spa treatments weren't answered. On arrival, despite email confirmations, my husband was told that the bike he'd arranged wasn't booked. He was eventually able to find a place a few days later to hire a different bike, but it was a long drive away. The hotel shouldn't have offered and confirmed a bike booking that wasn't true. I tried to book spa treatments and went to the spa multiple times but there was no one there, I went to reception and was told I'd get a call back, I tried multiple times and it never happened. We even had half a day with no hot water so couldn't even shower. The food options were minimal and considering it was described as a spa, there weren't choices for vegetarians. Service overall was not great, and it certainly isn't a spa hotel. Location is very remote which is fine if we were able to cycle and have spa, but given the facilities weren't available, it was not a good experience.

I booked this hotel to finish our trip in Mallorca. It was supposed to be the best place of our trip but, actually, it was the worst... We arrived on the 15th of June, opening day of the hotel. When we arrived, works were in progress in the entrance and nobody was here to welcome us. After few minutes, they finally arrived and explained us that they were not fully ready to welcome guests. So they offered us to upgrade us in junior suite and offered a discount of 50%...sounds good! However, we realised that we had no air conditioning, spa was closed, no room service, bar was closed, no alcool in the hotel, works were in progress everywhere in the hotel (including around the swimming pool), breakfast was really improvised...it was clearly more like camping than a luxury hotel. Worst part of this story, they didn’t refund the 50% that they promised us and they don’t answer to my emails. It’s not the kind of things you are expecting from a 5 stars hotel...
