I have been travelling for over 50 years and I am telling you this hotel is the best all round hotel I have stayed in. The staff are the best, so helpful, kind and love a joke. They really were kind to me and my wife and have given us presents. If you can fault it you are a better man than me. The food was great and different themes each night. The chef Fabian took a personal interest in your preferences and was superb. He even cooked your requests. Miquel head barman was great and very polite and welcoming. Laura, Fatima, Victoria and Liere were great waitresses and Very professional and they had a great sense of humor. Juan was the top waiter and so friendly and funny. Alex the best barman who supports Real Betis is now a friend for life. We actually exchanged waiter services one evening. The hotel is very clean. Our room was cleaned and new towels every day. We paid for a deluxe room that has a fridge with two double beds and a double pull down sofa. This was a great choice with wonderful views of Arenal harbour and palma. 5 minutes walk from a beautiful warm sea and beach I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Volvere Cliff and Danielle

I have never stayed in such a terrible hotel. In 20 years of travel, I have never been so disappointed in the food and service. Starting with breakfast, the bacon was nothing but burnt fried fat - barely any meat on it. I don’t even know if you can call the croissant a croissant, the bread was so hard you replace it with a brick. Moving to dinner, all the food was cold and flavourless other than 1 night when I found some flavour. I frequently found hair in my food. The bar on the roof was barely staffed. It wasn’t uncommon to wait 30-40 minutes for someone to appear. I would not recommend this hotel.

We stayed at the HSM Son Veri Hotel in El Arenal from 06 June - 13 June 2026. The overall experience was very positive.. The hotel was completely refurbised in 2017 in a very bright and fresh style. Our room 609 was very comfortable and was kept spotlessly clean thanks to Ester with daily cleaning and towel changes. We had half board in the restaurant and the food was fresh and had a good selection each day for both breakfast and dinner (thanks to Miguel Angel and the team) The pool area/terrace on the 11th floor was perfect for evening drinks and the bar staff were very friendly also. The main pool area (although compact) was very well maintained with sun beds always available. A big plus at the hotel too is having the use of the secure luggage room and shower room after check out. We cannot forget the very friendly and helpful Receptionists, Aine (hope the spelling is correct), Mari and Andreea :-) Looking forward to our next stay at HSM Son Veri El Arenal.
