Riu Bonanza Park

We love the Ses Illetas area and Hotel Bonanza. The service has always been outstanding, and every year we leave just as happy as when we arrived. This year was also the first time we travelled with our baby, and we truly felt that the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were as comfortable as possible. They helped us with everything from changing our room to arranging a different extra bed for our baby, and we felt well taken care of throughout our entire stay. We would especially like to recognize Ana at the reception. It was clear that she is truly passionate about providing excellent service and that her main goal was to ensure we had the best possible experience. She went the extra mile for us, and we are incredibly grateful for all her help, kindness, and care. We highly recommend Hotel Bonanza to anyone looking for a hotel with exceptional service and genuinely welcoming staff. We are already looking forward to coming back!

The hotel is ok. The staff is super amable. They have a good pool and a good breakfast. Thanks to Pedro from reception for the tip.

Disappointing Experience – Poor Communication and Unwelcoming Service I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately my recent stay at Hotel Bonanza Playa was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have had. The main issue was the restaurant dress code. Neither I nor my family were informed during booking or at check-in that long trousers were required for male guests, including my teenage sons aged 13 and 14. This information was not clearly communicated to us, yet we were refused entry to the restaurant on our first evening. What made the situation worse was the way it was handled. Instead of offering a practical solution or showing any flexibility, we were simply turned away and left to find dinner elsewhere. As a result, my children and I spent our first evening of our holiday searching for food outside the hotel rather than enjoying the facilities we had paid for. The service felt cold and unwelcoming, and the staff showed little empathy for the inconvenience and embarrassment caused. A hospitality business should focus on guest experience, communication, and problem-solving. Unfortunately, I experienced the opposite. Following my complaint, management acknowledged that the communication regarding the dress code could have been clearer and stated that they are reviewing both the policy and the way it is communicated to guests. While I appreciate that acknowledgement, it does not change the fact that our holiday experience was negatively affected. The hotel itself has a good location, but customer service and guest communication fell far below expectations. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel to families and would not choose to stay here again. Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5)
