Roc Illetas Playa

Beautiful views and a stunning setting. I loved the old building and the hotel’s architecture, which gives it a lot of character. There were, however, a few things that let the hotel down. Firstly, getting a taxi is almost impossible. It can take at least an hour for one to arrive if you want to go anywhere, so I’d recommend hiring a car or being happy to stay at the hotel for most of your trip. There also isn’t much within walking distance apart from two lovely beach clubs next door. If you’re booking a sea view room, be aware that the premium rooms are located behind the suite building, so your view will include that building before the sea. The rooms also lack mirrors apart from the one in the bathroom, which was a little inconvenient. The bathroom itself offers very little privacy, as it’s surrounded by glass, so it may not be ideal for couples who prefer more privacy when using the toilet or shower. On the positive side, the food was excellent, the hotel was peaceful and quiet, and I loved the sea cove. The pool is lovely with fantastic views, and all the staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful.

Fantastic hotel, excellent location near Playa de Illetas and Cala Comtessa, in a few minutes by car you arrive in Palma and Magaluf, with many parking spaces in the area. The property is a few years old but it is worthy, the rooms are clean and all the services are functional (for minimal problems encountered there was always someone to take care of it in zero time), we particularly appreciated the indoor pool with the jacuzzi, the gym and the spa, as well as obviously the outdoor pools and the possibility of swimming in the beautiful sea in front of the complex (it would be nice if inflatable loungers/donuts were available as the property opposite does). excellent service of beach towels always available and clean for guests. The staff is really kind, my favorites were Fabian and Eva, but all the other collaborators also did a great job; I had sent several emails before arrival for questions and clarifications and the answers received were always exhaustive and timely. The cuisine is excellent, the buffet very varied and many dishes change from day to day. at breakfast it would be optimal to have a slightly wider choice of sweets, the savory is really vast. For dinner, the appetizers are very good, the meat and fish are cooked on the spot and have always been very good, the dessert buffet is abundant. there is also a part with typical foods of Mallorca, much appreciated. Every evening there are activities such as live music and small shows, very pleasant to follow, as well as the yoga class at dawn. I would definitely choose this hotel again, both for this vacation and for a possible new stay in the future!

Such an amazing hotel! This is my second year in a row visiting this hotel and it’s fantastic. From the people to the food everything is 10/10. I would recommend this hotel to everyone !!!!!
