Super disappointed with this hotel considering how much we paid as a family of 4. We are still here nearing the end of our 10 day stay and things to note that I wish I knew prior to booking:
Rooms are not cleaned twice a week (Sundays and Wednesdays)
Linen is only changed every 3 days (you can imagine how much sand is everywhere with 2 young kids). When rooms are cleaned it is not thorough, we had the same marks on all surfaces for 3 days until I complained and a layer of dust. For a 4* hotel I expect a clean room each day.
We’ve had 3 powercuts albeit short, 1 was about 20 minutes.
Beds are crammed round the pool and I’ve seen many families asking lifeguards for help as there are simply no beds left at all.
Food is super disappointing, the à la carte is simply the buffet area but outside and you can order to the table , but you are trying to enjoy a meal in 36 degree heat which is impossible.
À la carte menu feels like leftovers of the buffet dishes you have seen each day.
The bar / indoor large lounge area where people go for respite in the day out the sun and also in the evening has no air con so everyone including staff are constantly fanning themselves.
I’ve seen multiple people in the buffet with no shoes on although I did see a man get told to put his top on (thank goodness).
Kids have loved it due to the great kids pool but hotel is at full capacity and you can see all the staff struggling. Personally for the money spent I’ve been really disappointed and will not be coming back or recommending!
