Hotel Spa Flamboyan Caribe

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My husband and I are very happy with our stay at the Hotel Flamboyan. We were lucky to be upgraded to a Premium room with beautiful sea views, which made our experience even more special. The buffet food was very delicious and varied. The spa is quite good, with a sauna, jacuzzi, a small pool with jets, and a cold water shower to complete the experience. The location is excellent, right in front of the sea and in a very quiet area. Also, it is about 8 minutes from the bus station, which is very convenient for traveling to Palma or the airport without needing a car. I slept wonderfully and am especially grateful for having been able to enjoy such a quiet and pleasant place. I also want to highlight the kindness of the staff, always willing to help, guide, and advise us on everything we needed. In short, my husband and I are leaving very happy and grateful. Without a doubt, a very pleasant experience that we will repeat! ❤️

We had read quite a few negative reviews on Google and TripAdvisor before arriving at Flamboyan Caribe, so we honestly weren't sure what to expect. After staying here, we can say that our experience was very different from many of those reviews. We stayed in room 106, which was spacious, modern, and came with a lovely terrace and a private jacuzzi. The complimentary minibar was restocked with bottled soft drinks and water, and the room also included a coffee machine with capsules and tea. Housekeeping cleaned the room every day, and everything was spotless throughout our stay. The food was good. It wasn't quite the same variety we are used to in Turkey, but there was always enough choice and we never left the restaurant hungry. We had read that there was no fish, but that wasn't true during our stay – fish was available every day. Every evening there is also a themed dinner featuring cuisine from different countries. Last night, for example, it was Chinese cuisine. The beach is wide, clean, and beautiful. There are no sunbeds, but that wasn't an issue for us at all. Beach towels are available free of charge from reception with a €5 deposit per towel, which is fully refunded when you return them. Another common complaint we saw was about the noise at night. Our room was on the sea side, and with the windows closed we could barely hear anything. This is a lively resort with lots of young people, bars, clubs, and nightlife, so some activity is to be expected. Personally, we loved the atmosphere. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and feel that many of the negative reviews do not reflect the experience we had. We would definitely return and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a lively beachfront holiday.

Myself and my friend have just arrived back from our stay in this hotel in Magaluf, our first girls holiday we weren’t expecting much of the hotel, and are very glad we didn’t as we were severely let down by the hotel as a whole. The overall cleanliness of the room was more than poor. We found that the room was covered in dark hairs, which were neither mine or my friends as we are both fair haired. As well as finding a used lolly pop stick by the side of the bath. From this it was blatant the room had not been thoroughly cleaned before we had been allocated the room. (See photos) The food was very simple, and the same every day, pizza, pasta, paella, meatballs and other bits such as chips and veg. The food was flavourless and hardly edible. The paella included seafood most of which was inedible as the shells were not open, clearly showing either poor produce or poor cooking. The plates, bowls and cutlery provided on multiple occasions had food residue and mucky marks on them. The most unacceptable incident occurred on our first night when we were asleep, being awoken by the night porter aggressively banging on our door, as well as the phone ringing. He demanded that we open the door, trying to get myself to go out of the room and shouted at us to “shut the f*** up.” We were both only partially dressed and understandably as young girls did not feel comfortable opening the door and exiting to a random man. At the time we also were unaware that this male was in fact the night porter. I had asked him to leave us alone, initially trying to stay as calm as possible, however did end up getting quite frustrated as he would not leave. I had explained that we were minimally clothed, yet his manner remained intimidating, aggressive and entirely unprofessional. The following morning, we reported this incident to a member of the reception team expecting the matter to be taken seriously. This is when we were made aware that the male at our door was the night porter. Instead, we were dismissed, and we were accused of causing disturbance in the hotel. Apparently hosting a party of a large number of people. We were told by the lady on reception that there were around 30 men on our terrace, and that the disruption was that loud, that there was no possibility that we could have been asleep during the occurrence. Admittedly, we had been out on the strip before, had consumed alcohol and had not slept much the day before due to our early flight, which would explain why we slept through the noise. At no point did anyone listen to our account of events or offer any apology. Being treated as though we were lying, after already experiencing such an upsetting encounter, only added to our distress. We were told also, that the people could be seen on our balcony from reception, however we investigated this, and due to bushes and trees found that you are unable to see our terrace from reception. The lady on reception offered to show us the footage, but then walked to a computer and slowly walked back. Overall the stay at the Flamboyan Caribe was very very underwhelming, and I would certainly not recommend the hotel especially to anyone who wishes to enjoy their holiday, and stay in a friendly, clean environment. As young girls the incidents which occurred during our stay were extremely overwhelming and worrying for us. The issues which took place have been discussed with our holiday provider and we hope that this review can hopefully make a change to the hotels appalling service and conduct.
