Hotel Rural Can Feliu

Unfortunately, the place did not live up to our expectations—even though our expectations were not incredibly high. The pool and area around it was much smaller than it appeared in the pictures and was unfortunately not clean. We had to clean the surface in the pool ourselves from leaves, bugs, and other debris floating around, and the water seemed murky. The area around the pool was almost completely in shade with a lot of debris falling from the pine trees, which was annoying to lie under. The air conditioning in the room did not work quite as it should, and the room was very dark. The breakfast was okay, not more than okay, not very exciting, and the coffee from the machine was not very nice. The Finca was quiet - far too quiet. There was no life or activity on the grounds, which did not appeal to us. We had booked 4 days but asked after the first day if we could check out early. We were allowed to, but we still had to pay for all 4 days. We did not want to lose our money, so we stayed for 3 days in total and checked out with one day remaining. We still had to pay for the last day, which showed a complete lack of understanding and flexibility. Unfortunately, it was not a good experience, and it is not a place we will visit again or we can recommend.

Beautiful stay in such an authentic establishment. Two dream days. The pool, Wifi, bedding, parking, friendly staff, super hearty breakfast... everything was perfect. And a very good price/Award ratio.
