Apartamentos Surfing Playa

We had such a perfect stay at the FlipFlop apartments! It was super clean, larger than expected, the balcony had a nice little side view of the beautiful blue sea, and the staff were super friendly and helpful! It was an ideal location, close both to little coves and the main beach and every shop and restaurant was in walking distance. The pool was also a highlight of our holiday and it was easy to grab a lounger. We had such a lovely stay here and would 100% recommend to anyone who is thinking of staying in the Santa Ponsa area!

Overall a great stay just a few things that the hotel can improve on . So it’s a self catering hotel however the kitchen facilities need improving , no kettle in room , no tea cups only expresso tiny cups . No chopping board to prepare food . Sun beds need cleaning daily as many have bird poo on them , front of hotel need the pathway jet washed on a regular bases as it’s caked in birds poo due to the large trees . Not sure on inflatables in the pool as the same couple were okay to use their inflatable one day and then told no the next day, make your mind up which one is it ? There is no bar or snack bar which is okay as you have plenty on bars etc minutes from the hotel . Our room was modern and clean with a lovely walk in shower, pool area is great and the pool is clean & warm . Hotel grounds are beautiful with lots of different plants & flowers . Resort is brilliant lots of lovely bars etc minutes from hotel, the location of the hotel is in a peaceful section with its own little bay that has 3 bars around it , walk 5 minutes the other way and you are in the heart of the resort . We will be coming back because of the location & the hotel grounds and room , it would be nice if they can improve on the issues mentioned.

Nice clean apartments ideally situated for the small cove and resurants. Never had a problem getting a sunbed. Only cleaned every 3 days but you only have to ask for towels, loo roll etc. You have to pay extra for the safe and tourist tax but the air-conditioning is included. Would be improved with an honesty box for drinks and somewhere to buy children an ice cream ( maybe a freezer in reception).
