Blue Sea Don Jaime

This is my first ever holiday abroad and our daughter booked it for us. After reading some of the mixed reviews I was a bit dubious about going and thinking of changing hotels but I am so glad I didnt listen to the negativity. On getting there we got into our apartment and it was very big with a big balcony to boot. Food had a good variety and for fussy eaters you had chips and pasta and something different each night to choose from.The pool was a little smaller then i expected but still nice and not overcrowded. There were plenty of sunbeds free even with guests using some. The only complaints I will put are that the air con in the rooms could do with adjusting as they are not powerful enough and the little beakers they give you as cups could be bigger as having to keep going up to the bar every few minutes is a pain in the bum. I did speak to some guests who were in normal rooms and said they were not the best but we will be returning next year and will get an apartment again and cant wait. People that are compaing about things are either expecting a higher star hotel or are genuinely getting unlucky on their stay. All in all a fantastic experience for my first time abroad

Hotel on the whole is fine. Two main gripes are the 'ecocups' horrible plastic beakers(I won't call them glasses) and the laughable shortage of sun loungers (34 in use but some of them are broken! Lifeguard does well with the number of people by the pool. Pool itself is fine but quite deep! Location is good. Strange layout of room with a completely empty space between the bedroom and the balcony. Food okay for the budget I would have to say. I found the staff very good if you are pleasant and cheerful with them. Enjoy!

Really not a great hotel: dilapidated room, buffet food not great and repetitive, aging and very dirty hotel... The entire staff is nice. The positive: the location, close to the beach and the center of Cala Millor. A piece of advice: for a few tens of euros more, choose another hotel!
