Finca Can Canals

We stayed for a week in the Grec and Ponent rooms. Both are located in an isolated building, far from the other rooms present near the pool. The Grec is on the first floor and has a balcony, the Ponent is on the ground floor and enjoys absolute privacy. Both rooms are very spacious, with a living area; the Ponent has a larger bathroom and a very comfortable walk-in closet. The finca has two pools, one only for adults, the other for everyone. The breakfast is varied and of quality and is served in a pleasant, well-kept area. We also tried the restaurant for three evenings, enjoying both the dishes and the very attentive service. Everywhere there is silence, care, and cleanliness. Both beach towels and umbrellas are available to guests. At the end of our stay, having our flight in the evening, they kindly allowed us to use a bathroom for a shower. A gesture that we appreciated very much. Compliments to everyone, we are returning rested and satisfied!

Nice finca with fairly large rooms. We were in one of the rooms that overlook the pool on the reception side, which I believe are the best located. Very simple and very quick check-in, top-notch. The soundproofing of the rooms is average, and the air conditioning is really barely sufficient, even insufficient. The mattress is too hard for my taste, but since that is subjective, it does not affect the final rating I give. The breakfast is also sufficient; nothing is missing, but there are few preparations, types of bread, and only one fruit juice (the same one every morning). The gardens are very well maintained, and the setting of the hotel is truly very pleasant. A car is essential because it is still 10 to 15 minutes from Colonia. By the way, having been there several times, I have been greatly saddened to see Colonia Sant Jordi slowly fading away. It is quite sad to see the closed shops with metal shutters down, the supermarket is also closed, and the mini center is too... it hurts the heart to see this when one has known Colonia to be so lively. Returning to the hotel, the big positive point is its restaurant. We dined there two evenings and once at noon upon our arrival at the hotel. The staff is lovely, and the cuisine is excellent. A must-do without fail. In summary, I recommend Can Canals for a romantic or family stay.

Beautiful little finca hotel with a great restaurant. The rooms are functional and simple. The cleanliness and the restaurant are noteworthy. Both are very good. Unfortunately, one star deduction for the lack of a bar and one star deduction for not changing the towels. We had a stay of 3 days/2 nights.
