Budget holiday in a budget hotel, didn’t expect the ritz but was pleasantly surprised!! Exceptionally comfy bed and pillows, we had a room with a view of the street and sea!! Only things that could improve the room was a fridge and a door on the bathroom!! Perfectly acceptable for what we paid!!

I stayed for 5 nights in September in room 104, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. There was a serious leak in the bathroom, which made it difficult and at times impossible to use the toilet and bathroom properly. Water was constantly on the floor, and no one from the hotel came to clean it or resolve the problem. I had to clean the water myself every evening. Despite the inconvenience and the poor condition of the bathroom, no compensation was offered during my stay. I would not recommend booking this hotel through Amimir.com or in general based on my experience. I expected much better service and a basic level of comunication with reception team and travel agent Amimir.com

We chose the Galaxia because we were looking for a budget-friendly hotel and, knowing it was a 1-star hotel with no air conditioning, we went with realistic expectations. We were actually pleasantly surprised by our stay! The hotel is in a great location — just around a 5-minute walk to the beach, with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. Our room was basic, as expected, but it was clean and a good size for two adults. We had a fan provided, which was definitely needed in the August/September heat! We were lucky enough to have a sea-facing room. Although the balcony didn’t get direct sunlight, this actually worked in our favour as it helped keep the room cooler. The pool was a really good size, with plenty of sunbeds and parasols, and was usually very quiet, which was a lovely bonus. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and we had no issues during our stay. We stayed room only, so we can’t comment on the hotel food. Instead, we had breakfast at the café directly opposite the hotel, which was around €10 for both of us — great value and really convenient. If you’re looking for a luxury hotel with all the facilities and air conditioning, this obviously isn’t the place for you. But if you’re looking for somewhere clean, friendly, well located and affordable, and you’re happy with basic accommodation, we’d definitely recommend giving the Galaxia a look. For a budget 1-star hotel, we genuinely feel it offered great value for money and was much better than we expected. 😊🌴☀️
