Decent hotel tucked out of the way of all the evening noise, but only 15 mins walk. The pool is small, and sun beds are at a premium but the good news is it’s right on the beach which is beautiful. Has a small kids pool also. Staff were ok, not overly friendly and the guy on the night shift at check in barely said a word to us which wasn’t a good start. His English was poor. Bear in mind that during September it’s very German orientated, entertainment and food wise. The room was spacious and clean, well maintained also. Food was not good though, variety not great and expected better standards of food for a 4 star hotel. We decided to eat out most evenings as a result. I would come back though, not a bad hotel.

Overall a nice stay. Rooms and some internal areas are a little outdated but the rooms are very clean and spacious. Pool area is clean but very busy with regards to getting a sunbed. Great location with lots of amenities nearby. Only issue we had was a horrible smell that kept filling the room. Reception blamed it on the storm but the storm was only one day and the smell of drains was daily. We ended up buying an air freshener.

We are here now. Arrived last night. Air con not working sweltering in the room. None of us slept propoerlt so the 1st day of holiday is ruined as we are all exausted. Apparebtly someone will try to fix it today. Had a look at the pool and EVERY lounger is taken with reserved towels. Kids disappointed as there is nowhere to go by the pool despite it being mostly empty. The horel say towel reserving by the pool is forbidden but they won't take accountability or responsibility to enforce this. They dont care. Really bad start after paying a lot of money. I will update this review if things improve.
