Hotel San Lorenzo

Great location in the old Town of Palma, wonderful 17th century mansion that has maintained its character and charm. The reception team could not have been more helpful, great breakfast, lots of nourishing continental breakfast and freshly cooked hot meals. Our Junior Suite was very spacious and a high standard of cleanliness. We have already booked for next year.

We have been staying at the Sant Llorenç hotel in Palma de Mallorca for more than 10 years now. As usual, we had already made a reservation for our stay from August 26 to September 2 2026 in September 2025. On August 19, my friend contacted the hotel to make sure that we got tha room we booked. To our astonishment, the management informed us that they had no entry for our reservation in their system and that the employee giving us the confirmation was no longer working with them, thereby accusing her of neglecting her duty. They suggested to find an alternative accomodation in Palma. Having our flights already booked, we were understandably upset with this very summary dismissal at the height of season in Mallorca. My friend, being an attorney, expressed her disappointment to the management. Only then did management write an email with an apology. We understand that errors can happen. But what we do not tolerate is the snotty way we were treated by the management even after producing our confirmations by the hotel itself, the assignment of guilt on an employee and the unapologetic way they dismissed our reservation. This is not how you treat longtime guests, and if you do, you don't belong in the hospitality business.

Don't tell anyone: it's a little gem, quiet in the city center with discreet service.... that's not common but so appreciated. We LOVED it
