Fabulous weekend to honour milestone birthdays for two amazing ladies. (A lot of research and prep prior to booking.). Great weather. The bay / scenery were pretty. The food, drinks, entertainment were very good. Very busy with a lot of children as obviously a dedicated family resort so associated noises to be expected. There are a number of issues about the accommodation and communal areas. Just general maintenance, neglect, and safety that need attention and intervention. Easy wins for management over the closed winter period. A significant security / conflict incident that occurred (over two nights) was witnessed by some in our group and was reported to reception. No one appeared interested and management failed to act. I believe this is pending investigation. On a positive. Credit to some amazing staff. Shout out to: the young restaurant manager at the Mexican sat evening that did an amazing job sorting out our special table for the birthday meal. Katrina on reception was very helpful. Block 11 pool / snack bar ladies. Evening bar staff who worked so hard creating cocktails and drinks for hundreds of guests each night. Animation team were excellent. Silent disco and karaoke were fun. Great for families but maybe not for couples or considerate groups.

The location of the hotel is great and on arrival we were very impressed, it went down hill very quickly after arriving at our bedroom!! As we were four adults we were given a two bedroom family room (1149) it was the block furthest from the main facilities although it did have a swimming pool and snack bar right outside the block. The room had two bedrooms, fridge and bathroom with lounge area, no tea/coffee facilities, the outside balcony was not private and neighbours could access it. The room itself was very tired but luckily clean, wardrobe doors were hanging off, the air conditioning was so noisy we had to turn it off at night, luckily we were only here for the weekend otherwise we would have asked to be moved! The rooms in our block the lower floor was occupied by staff who were noisy and rude especially when asked to be quiet at 3am in the morning! Very strange to put staff who were relaxing after work and noisy in an area where there were families?? The whole area around our block was very unloved, clothes/shoes and towels were lying around, rubbish wasn't picked up and the swimming pool was dirty (although that did improve). There was just a little lack of attention to detail at the whole hotel and could have done with more cleaners in the communal areas. The restaurants were OK although a long walk from our bedroom, food was cold at all meal times, drinks you serve yourself with wine, beer or soft drinks. The Mexican restaurant was the best food for me personally. Entertainment we did enjoy the karaoke and silent disco both were good fun. We paid a lot of money for a weekend stay at this hotel and we didn't feel it was good value. The customer service was not good we made complaints on the app about the staff situation and nothing was dealt with and no response from management. Overall we would not stay her again and it has put me off using an Iberostar Hotel again. There are lots of stairs and you can have a long walk to the main facilities so be cautious if have walking issues.

We had a lovely stay overall, with plenty to enjoy at the hotel. There was a fantastic choice of food, all of good quality, and we rarely had to wait long for a table. The coffee and ice cream shop was also a really nice touch. The choice of drinks was really good too and nice to have glasses provided. The pools were lovely, although one was looking a little tired and dated. There were plenty of sunbeds, and although the hotel got very busy, it still managed to maintain a nice atmosphere. The beach was beautiful, with absolutely stunning water, and the entertainment was outstanding. so slick, professional and genuinely enjoyable. A real highlight of the holiday. Unfortunately, the room was a real let-down and not at all what we expected. It was very tired and run-down, with mould, broken fittings, poor air conditioning and a loose balcony door. It also hadn’t been cleaned particularly well with coffee stains still showing on the bedside table, and towels weren’t always replaced. Such a shame, as so much of the hotel was lovely. With some much-needed attention to the rooms, it would have been a fantastic experience all round.
