Nica and quiet place to stay. Ok rooms, good breakfast, nice with animals around. Hard beds and pillows. Dinners was no more than ok, so it’s might the best to east in som places in near bye. Not good service in resturant/reseption, not good

We stayed a week at this hotel with my in-laws and my husband and overall we keep a mixed impression, but rather positive, with several points that really deserve improvement. First of all, the location is a real asset. The hotel is located in a quite secluded location, surrounded by nature, which brings a lot of calm and serenity. The setting reminds us a little of the Mood of a farm or a small country hamlet, and it is precisely this off-center side that is pleasant, avoiding the crowds, noise and bustle of tourist areas. It is a place that allows you to rest and enjoy a peaceful environment. Then, regarding the Welcoming, we were well received. The manager is friendly, available and gives a good first impression. You feel comfortable on arrival, which is always good when you start a stay! With regard to half board catering, our experience has been more mixed. The breakfast is correct but lacks so much variety the choice is very limited and always comes back to the same every day looking at the reviews I saw a photo of the breakfast dated 2022 and I notice that 3 years later it is still the same proposals .. Over a one-week stay, it quickly becomes repetitive, and I imagine that for guests who stay ten days or more, it can be even heavier. Half board is generally expected to be a minimum of diversity, especially in terms of drinks or small sides..especially since at the location we saw that there were figs, lemons, apples and so on.. the evening meals were generally good.It was simple, correct, and we always found something that suited us. That said, the dishes were all almost lukewarm, even cold but never hot.. the waitress was friendly and dynamic, and it was nice. A more disappointing point concerns swimming pools. The hotel has three, which is a real plus on paper. However, apart from the large pool at the back of the hotel which is suitable, the other two are poorly maintained. The borders are yellowed, there is a feeling of persistent dirt, and some equipment is rusty. You can see that there is chlorine, but regular maintenance doesn’t seem to be there, and it’s a shame because it’s an important aspect for holidaymakers. On the side of the rooms, there is positive the beds are very comfortable, which really helps to rest well, moreover they were very clean. Finally, regarding the general Mood, the hotel is extremely quiet. This can be perceived as an advantage by those who seek above all tranquility, rest and discretion. However, for holidaymakers who like a little more conviviality, it can quickly seem monotonous. There are not really any entertainment or activities on offer in the evening. A minimum of initiatives (small games, music, card nights, light entertainment) could really make the hotel livelier, without detracting from the tranquility that some people are looking for. In conclusion, we had a pleasant stay thanks to the relaxing setting and the kindness of the Welcoming, but the hotel suffers from notable deficiencies in the maintenance (especially the pools) of the variety of meals and the lack of entertainment. These are points that could be improved without completely transforming the calm spirit of the place.
