AVOID at all costs . horrible staff argumentative and rude , air con didnt work to start with and they were not bothered at all . room was small , view was terrible , it was full of drunken people and people smoking cannabis . bathroom was the worst it had excrement ( faeces ) stains in the toilet , a unclean grotty shower handle a hairdryer that when i picked it up pulled the whole wiring out to be exposed .

If I could give this minus stars I would. They rest their laurels on the fact that the hotel is opposite the beach. That's where the positives stop. The room we paid €1,445 for 10 days was in a secondary building, up a myriad of stairs and through a labyrinth of corridors. We asked for a different room and a fridge. We were shown another room (with no fridge) that was so small you could barely get around the bed. We were offered a fridge for €97, but instead opted to pay an additional €973 for a (supposedly fully equipped) studio. For a total accommodation cost of nearly €2,500, (not inc flights) we expected considerably more than we got. The studio was extremely poorly equipped. There was no kettle, no cooking utensils, no chopping board, no suitable kitchen equipment and nowhere safely to plug in the microwave, which had been placed on a high shelf. The microwave weighs approximately 6kg and the manager told us it was on the shelf essentially for show and that guests were expected to lift it down from head height when they wanted to use it. The two-ring induction hob was also concerning. It did not automatically switch off when there was no pan on it and remained hot/on until manually switched off. When we raised our concerns, maintenance supplied an extension lead — but the only practical way of using it meant the lead looped directly over the hot hob. There were also bare/exposed wires above the cooking area associated with the kitchen extraction. We raised these concerns with the manager. His response was essentially that it is a three-star hotel and “what do you expect?” Personally, for the amount we paid, I expected basic kitchen equipment and, above all, a safe arrangement. It's obvious from his response and the readily available complaints form posted behind the front desk that they couldn't care less, just happy to take your money for a shoddy product. The shower cubicle is tiny. The door opens against the sink, leaving an extremely narrow opening, so you have to turn sideways to squeeze into it. Anyone of average or larger build would struggle to get in and out. We subsequently made a formal complaint to the relevant Spanish authorities regarding the accommodation and, in particular, the safety concerns. It will be interesting to see whether the authorities consider the arrangements acceptable. This was our personal experience, in the common areas it wasn't much better: the shower on the solarium deck deck has no water, the deck itself is sinking/sagging. One tiny lift which invariably whizzes past your floor without stopping, means a hike up/down lots of stairs more often than not and €25 for 2 cocktails on the roof is pretty steep. The hotel may have a great location directly opposite the beach, but in our experience that is about where the positives end. I would not stay here again or recommend it at all. I don't like leaving negative reviews, being of the old school, 'if you can't say something nice, say nothing at all' but in this case there are some shocking safety issues - no pun intended!

Slow check in, the staff member was checking me in but then answered the phone and spent 5 mins dealing with something else whilst I stood there waiting for my key card. Room was adequate and what I had booked but then the issues started with the shower. She shower head leaked water everywhere, the shower doors did no close properly so water went all the bathroom floor and into the bedroom area, causing me to slip. The air conditioning did not work well, the breakfast food was cold, tables and table mats not cleaned properly, they were filthy. Good location of the hotel and that's why I chose it but I will not stay here again, I like a clean table for breakfast.
