We stayed at Bimbolla Apartments for 5 nights in August. I was not expecting much due to the reviews here and even took cleaning wipes. There was no need! The 1 bedroom apartment we had for 2 adults and 2 children was huge, the sofa bed really comfortable. Kettle, toaster, 2 hobs and microwave were all we needed as we visited restaurants for dinner. The bedrooms do lack drawers/shelves and wardrobes are dated so hanging clothes was hit and miss. The pool was not too deep and never crowded, at one point we were the only ones there at 4pm. The Wi-fi is intermittent but we had our mobile data. The walk past the pool, down steps to the supermarket is quick and easy. The site doesnt have a bar or restaurant which is a shame as its a waste of a good space there. A taxi to/from the airport is EUR25 and a 92 bus to Mahon is EUR 7 (they only take cash on the bus). The ting ting train to Biniveca is worth the money. Overall, for the price we paid, we were very happy with our experience at the apartments. The beach is beautiful and its a lovely, quiet town to visit or use as a base.

Just returned from a week stay here and understand nothing the previous positive comments. After a long journey we arrived at 9 am and could only at 3 pm! in the very dated apartment. In the pictures it all looks much nicer than it actually is. Very bad beds, old furniture, really very old and dilapidated all! Only the air conditioning and shower were good. No cleaning. Every 2 x promised towel change we had to ask once ourselves after we still had not received clean towels at 5 pm. The 2nd time had no clean towels at all! Except for 1 lady, the people at the reception are not very friendly, reports (about only 3 towels and 3 glasses for 4 people) are noted, but they do nothing with it at all! We are not going here anymore!!
