Apartamentos Roc Lago Park

We found it quite difficult to rate AluaSun Lago Park because, in many ways, it gets the basics right. The food was good, the apartments were kept clean, and the staff were generally friendly and hardworking. However, there were some disappointing aspects. The dining room has no air conditioning, which made meal times quite uncomfortable in the heat. We also found that when we raised problems, they didn't seem very willing to resolve them on site. Both pool areas were lovely, and the children's play area looked great for families. We didn't visit the water park ourselves, but other guests spoke positively about it. The accommodation itself felt quite basic by UK standards. Our apartment overlooked the harbour area, which meant there was a lot of noise from large groups, bars, and restaurants, often until around 2:30 a.m. We could also smell cooking and food from the nearby restaurants, which wasn't ideal. Overall, it's a decent place if you're looking for a clean, well-maintained base with good pools. However, noise, basic accommodation, and the lack of air conditioning in the dining area may affect your stay.

As a family group from grandparents to children, we enjoyed this resort in early July 2026. The apartments were clean, comfortable and visually smart in nice safe grounds. Located next to the Marina, a short walk to the beach and close to the included Aquapark. The only weak point was the restaurant. The food was "adequate" but we ate out a few times for something better. The tables were quickly cleared and cleaned but no one appeared to clean the poolside chairs which were "pood" apon by the numerous sparrows. There was a group of young lads who were very noisy which made eating in the evening like a school canteen rather than an hotel dining area. The entertainment was enjoyed by children and the parents. We had an issue on arrival in the dark and very warm. The air conditioning was not working and we spent the night under damp towels to combat the heat. This was not resolved the next day and under protest they could not give us a different room or make repairs, so a second night was spent under damp towels. Calling Jet2 got some action and we were given a new room with Aircon. This should have been resolved a day earlier by the hotel.

The apartments were significantly better than we expected after having read other reviews. Very well maintained, very clean in rooms and communal areas. Food was lovely, if not a huge variety but dishes were varied throughout our stay. Rooms could do with a little modernising but they were comfortable and perfect for what we needed. Aircon worked really well compared to other places we have stayed. All the staff were really friendly, check in and out was really quick. Great location on marina so easy to get everywhere
