Confortel Menorca (ex Annabel)

COCKROACHES! A nest of cockroaches!!! And you even find them on top of the beds! Not only in the kitchen, we found cockroaches in the wardrobes and they even climbed on our bed. The management of the flats is aware of the cockroach problem. However, their management is very poor. When we saw the problem we informed the reception office and they gave us a cockroach spray. We bought more spray and sprayed it in the kitchen. A lot of cockroaches came out. We also saw that they come in at night from the garden. We complained again and then they called a pest control company who treated the flat. Even so, we still saw some cockroaches. We asked for a complaints book and were told that they did not have one. Although by law all establishments should have complaint forms and give them to the clients if requested. We informed that we would post a negative comment on the Internet. Definitely a terribly unpleasant stay. We wish we had chosen another accommodation. This review applies to: Apartamentos Annabel situated in Cala Galdana, Menorca

Lovely clean, modern apartment with spotless pool and lawn area. A bit of a trek up and down to the sea front but a beautiful resort. My only negative was that reception was permanently closed which wasn’t a problem but it would have been useful to have been told prior to arrival that upon arrival you had to call a number to be told what apartment you were allocated. I would definitely book again.
