Villa Valle Verde

We were made to feel right at home staying with Cris, which was very welcome after 2 weeks in hotel rooms. Cris made sure that our every need was met and was very kind to our 1 year old, letting her borrow a teddy bear to take around and visit her chickens and pat the dogs. She also has a great collection of books and dvds, so again we took the opportunity to do "home" like things after being on the road. It should also be said that Cris is an amazing cook and I highly recommend taking her up on the dinner option. In a great location to explore the border villages.

Villa Valle Verde is located in the middle of vinyards in a serene environment. This is a place for perfect relaxation whilst enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and stunning views. It is also a great location to explore the border region, close to ancient towns and the beautiful Atlantic coast. The hosts are perfect. They make sure, that everybody is comfortable. They have lots of books and DVDs, a cozy lounge, a terrific balcony and the meals are excellent. The breakfast keeps you going for a long time and the evening meal which Chris cooked for us was delicious. The prices for wine and beer are moderate. The rooms are big enough, nicely decorated and the bathrooms have been updated. We got lots of good tips where to go and what to see as Keith knows the area inside out. This is a place where you get very good value for your money.
