Mediterrani

Had a lovely week here as a couple. Food was plentiful and varied. All inclusive beer, wine and cocktails were definitely drinkable. Don't waste money on buying cocktails. Rooms were cleaned daily, if required. Gardens and pool areas were spotless. Staff were excellent. The only downside was the putting of towels on sunbeds by the main pool. All beds were gone by 7:30am. We preferred the quiet pool as we just wanted to read and relax. Unfortunately, families joined us, even although there were 3 other pool areas for kids. I think it was perhaps because all the beds around the other pools had towels on them. It would have been perfect if the quiet pool was adult only and the saving sunbeds by putting towels on them was not allowed. If you put a towel on a bed and aren't there for 15 minutes, I would remove the towel. Everything else was perfect.

When we booked an holiday to the Globales Mediterrani I read mixed reviews regarding food, staff, rooms but we didn't find this the case. The staff were so friendly and helpful, rooms were cleaned every day and the food was so tasty and hot. There was entertainment every night and the entertainment team in the day were amazing especially doing aerobics in 40 degree heat, would I go back and reccomend to family and friends, of course the answer is yes.

We arrived and were sooo happily surprised. The hotel exceeded all expectations. We were given 2 apartments rather than hotel rooms nearer the adult only pool. They were exceptionally clean and well presented. The food area is immaculate with an abundance of culinary delights for all. The staff were amazing. The pools sooo clean and areas all over the complex 10 out of 10 The location is perfect; the beach nearby was stunning as were the various restaurants and bars. Ciutadella was breathtaking and was only 10 euros to get to in a taxi. I’d urge anyone to spend a day there to explore the heavenly harbour, wonderful restaurants and amazing market and shops ! It’s brimming with character! The downsides to here were the tokens, absolutely ridiculous as we kept losing them and then were made to feel like wrong ens for telling bar staff we couldn’t find them or our small plastic cups (which had been taken by house maids) David in particular on the bar seemed hell bent on not believing us at a particular time. When you have paid a lot of money for all inclusive and are wearing a wrist band you should not be made to present a token or a plastic cup to prove you’re all inclusive and viable for a drink !! This caused a lot of upset to be honest. The drinks were poor and the nice cocktails or ice creams you had to pay for. I feel personally for the money you pay, kids should be offered all of the ice creams advertised on the board by the bar ! Also around the area of the adults only pool, the bar was permanent closed! This wasn’t ideal when we spent our week there and on all the photos advertising the hotel it is shown as open. I would come back definitely but I think ditch the tokens, improve the drinks and open the bar near the adults only pool Thank you to all ❤️
