Rey Carlos Iii

Wonderful views from the pool deck watching the boats pass by. Location is a residential area Es castell. 7 min taxi from Mahon price €13 euros one way. Water taxi available to the port bookable at reception ( you must stick to your booking time) €11 one way pp The bus stop is a good walk away at the edge of town ( we found it too hot to walk) Supermarket in the town about 10 mins walk Staff were all excellent, you got the feeling they genuinely want to help you, could not fault them. Special mention to Lora and Loren ( spelling) she worked so hard in the bar and always so pleasant. Must also mention Gwen in reception. Rooms comfortable with all you need ( good size mug for tea!) good a/c and it was certainly needed. Food was fine, this is a small hotel so don't expect a massive buffet but all food was good quality and more than adequate. Entertainment low key. Singer in the evening we saw two the soul singer was fantastic and xia also very good The pool is sea water. You can also swim in the sea via some steps but they are super slippy so be warned. There is a sauna area that you need to pay to use and there's a small gym ( free) massages and facials are available. I had a facial 30 mins for €60. To be honest it was not the best and I wouldn't book again. All in all a very pleasant stay in a small adults only hotel. Views from the hotel and staff members sell it.

A quiet relaxing experience with excellent service and beautiful views Food is first rate and rooms very comfortable

We had a really lovely holiday at this lovely hotel. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Lovely and peaceful. Breakfast was delicious. The only thing that let it down was sometimes the cleanliness of the pool area. The little tables were quite often not very clean and the floor too.
