Honestly the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. Very run down and shabby but that’s ok as it was clean. But they’ve sold the bar and restaurant to a 3rd party and in 35”c heat you’re asked to move out of the shaded terrace in to direct sunlight as the “terrace” is only for restaurant guests. They don’t tell you on the booking that you do not have access to the hotel you’ve booked and I left after 2 days of a week trip it was that bad. The manager lies to the booking company “were discussing the problems” he said but had never even come to see me. I would avoid at all costs as lots better options out there.

The cockroach paradise. They have the hotel suite. But they are friendly. What a shame, spectacular views, exceptional site, professional employees, but very poorly maintained and with facilities from the 50s. Ideal for filming an Alfredo Landa movie.

We were happy once again to return to this property on the seashore. A couple of notable differences from our visit last summer. The Kabaña beach bar in the hotel was closed and the buffet breakfast in the restaurant was replaced by a menu based selection from the bar. I'm guessing these are just seasonal changes. The hotel is a three star hotel and does not offer the same level of quality as far as amenities are concerned as their sister hotel across the street, but this is very much reflected in their room rates. Once again the personal service from the staff was truly exceptional. Special thanks to Brahim for speaking to me in in a second language and allowing me to do the same. For those of us seeking to learn or improve our Spanish speaking skills, interactions like these are priceless.
