Aguilas Hotel Resort

The hotel is closed, I don't know how you can still make reservations to sleep there. It's completely deserted, there are fences around it and it looks spooky.

The place is almost in ruins. We have been staying 2 years in a row here for a sport event as there is not much choice around. Very expensive for what you get. The staff doesn’t know how to handle busy times. Food is a joke. The rooms are old, TV not working and the pool is always empty. The hotel is not well maintained at all and they are short of staff. The only good thing is the location and availability. They are not flexible at all. If you lucky u will get a new mattress.

The resort was a long way from the beaches of Aguilas. It was also shut! The hotel was open but, the swimming pool, restaurant etc were closed and it was very hot. The staff are all very nice and helpful. We were told that we would be taken to a restaurant in the town for dinner as the hotel restaurant was shut. After travelling all day we were a bit annoyed. We were taken to the restaurant by a member of staff and picked up again when we had finished. As it turned out the dinner was great. Good choice and good food. The rooms are big with huge beds and a large bathroom with a great shower. They are dark though with all the dark furniture All in all it was a nice stay but,this place is too far from the resort. Perhaps if the pool etc would have been open it would have been better. The view from the road is not very nice. Great helpful staff made the stay better.
