Villa De Andosilla

The hotel itself is good !!!!!! It could improve a lot; in the evening there is nothing to eat except the daily menu, and I think adding a sandwich or a portion would not be out of place; the staff is a bit disorganized and sometimes not very friendly !!!!!! The breakfast is very limited with no variety !!!!!!

Massive rooms, clean but Spartan with good beds. Despite large bathroom the shower was the smallest ever seen. Can be noisy in morning. Sensor lights irritating as some don't work and others go out just as you need to find the lift. Staff were very friendly. Not sure if they spoke Spanish but the manager did. The restaurant was never open and you had to eat in the adjoining cafe. Menu typical of cheaper hotels in the region offering "Platos combinados" in various guises. All with the ubiquitous fried egg and chips. For one night it was ok but we couldn't stomach a second night. No other options in town but plenty of restaurants in nearby Callahorro. No information given at check in as the bar staff seemed to be there just to give you a key. Breakfast turned out to be almost a continental style (coffee, toast , rolls ,fruit juice and croissants) and was an amazing '€5. A very cheap modern hotel not for long stays but passing through is fine. Wi fi worked fine and underground parking was very secure even if you couldn't see when the lights went out!

We were enroute to France and needed an out of the way place to break the trip. The room was very clean, staff polite and accommodating, and the dinner (not many other options in this very small town) was fine. Haute cuisine and five star hotel? Definitely not...but good value and nice surroundings definitely.
