Parador de Verin - Monterrei

This parador has a commanding view over the area,very pleasant grounds and an attractive building with some atmosphere. I was disapppointed to find the swimming pool unavailable(air temperature 30°). The bedroom and bathroom were clean and comfortable . Dinner was unexceptional- more vegetarian options would be good-and breakfast adequate.Bananas, brown and popped in a glass were strange and unappealing. Service was friendly,but I felt they were a little "stretched".

The restaurant was bad; it threatened my aunt and me.

It has been an excellent stay with the help of the human team of the parador. The environment is fantastic and with the information obtained from the Parador we have been able to enjoy the carnivals, the visits to endearing localities and of course the route of the springs, highlighting the one of Cabreiroá.
