Galicia Palace

Well located. Spacious and clean room. It did not have a safe. The negative is that to enter the hotel and bring up the suitcases, it has stairs, and the ramp it has is very uncomfortable for taking suitcases up and down. I did not have breakfast at the hotel.

This hotel is very well located in the centre of Pontevedra, which makes it easy to visit the historic center and all points of interest. Our room was already dated, with worn curtains and the wardrobe smelling mud. The windows very well isolate the noise of the street, but between rooms you hear everything and unfortunately there are guests who lack consideration for others and put themselves to speak too loudly in the stairs. Friendly staff. Banal breakfast, in the face of the price that is paid, since we realized that some of the fruits would no longer be so fresh. Attention, because when they give parking as a research priority, they need to know that around the hotel, there are no places anywhere, and the hotel parking, which is paid 19€ per day, is a real horror movie, for those who have big cars. We parked on the 2nd floor, which besides the entrance to be very steep, the places are very tight and are not functional, because there are many pillars and make the manoeuvres very complicated. However, there was one day that we went out in the elevator, by mistake, on the -1 floor and that yes had more spacious places. The suggestion remains.

I called to speak with the manager, but the receptionist, whose name I had to ask, told me his name was Gastón. He insisted that I give him my name, and when I didn't, he wouldn't connect me with the manager and hung up the phone on me. Later, I called back, and the other receptionist who attended to me also did not identify himself, and I had to ask him several times for his name. Terrible service, incompetent and rude staff.
